About The Author

I’ve worked in some facet of the golf industry for the better part of the past decade, and as the years have passed since I took up this wonderful game, my love for the sport has only grown stronger. So naturally it’s only fitting that I spend some of my downtime (when not working, playing golf, or spending quality time with my family) writing about this game that I love.

I’ve been playing golf for 20 years, and I consider myself very fortunate to have the time and the means to devote a significant portion of both my career and my pastime into this wonderful sport. Indeed, golf is my passion.

Golf has completely changed my life, in every way imaginable. First and foremost, this game has taught me a lot about myself as a person; my strengths, my weaknesses, my ability to control my emotions, how to cope with failure, how to remain patient, and most importantly – it has taught me the value of working hard to achieve goals and developing the belief in one’s self. If you want to get involved with a hobby that mirrors life, then golf is your ticket, baby! More about me:

Did you know the legend of bagger vance is based on the indian mystical poem the bhagavad gita? Many of the names and allusions in the book are derived from the poem, not the least of which is the title.

I have been looking for golfers for a golf shoot out at the Berwick Golf Club on September 12,2011 as a fundraising event for Your Loving Choices, Pregnancy Resource Center in Bloomsburg, Pa. We are a local non-profit organization and are having a difficult time finding golfers who are willing to commit so I have been surfing the internet for ideas and your blog popped up on one of the searches. I don’t know if you have time on that day or are interested in signing up to play and committing to finding donations for yourself but if not maybe you have some golfers in mind who live in the area and could help out this worthy cause. It is an all day event with golfers being able to shoot 100 holes and also food and prizes. If you have any ideas or are interested yourself please call or text me- 570-231-1671.

    Thank You,
    Arielle Perryt

Rob, thanks for stopping by. I think about my trip over there with you and the fellas quite often, and I’d love to do it again sometime.

It appears that I’ll be heading to London for a 2-3 year stint, which puts me a lot closer to Blairgowrie. Rest assured that I’ll make it a point to get in touch with you, somehow, after I’ve settled in.

Hope you’re faring well, my friend.
    Keep in touch!
